The bottom three floors of the Kyoto Tower building, opened in April 2017. The basement is a food hall that runs to 23:00, with counters for gyoza, dashi rice bowls, Torisei yakitori and conveyor-belt sushi. The ground floor sells Kyoto sweets and souvenirs, and upstairs you can book a wagashi or sushi-making class.

Every Saturday at 12:00 the conveyor-belt sushi bar downstairs cuts up a whole tuna, and you can order it as sushi straight after. It's linked underground to the station's east exit, so you can stay dry. Good for last-minute souvenirs.
